Terms of Service
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Lazy Scaping, a free, fan-made Old School RuneScape planner. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service
Lazy Scaping helps players plan skill training and gear up for bosses, using public hiscores, live Grand Exchange prices and community knowledge. It's provided free of charge. It is a fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex Ltd.
Accounts
- An account is optional. It lets you keep your saved gear, unlocks and RuneScape name on any device.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details (including your Discord or Google account) secure.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile menu. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use bots or scripts to make automated or bulk requests, including hiscores lookups or price data.
- Try to get around rate limits or security measures, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Disrupt, overload or damage the site, or use it for anything unlawful.
We may limit or suspend access, or remove accounts, that break these rules.
Estimates, not guarantees
XP rates, costs, gear suggestions and strategies are estimates. They come from community knowledge and live prices that change constantly, and they may be incomplete or out of date. Always use your own judgement in game. Lazy Scaping isn't responsible for in-game outcomes, such as gold spent, items lost or deaths.
Lazy Scaping doesn't connect to or interact with the game. When using third-party tools mentioned on the site, such as RuneLite plugins, follow Jagex's rules.
Third-party content
- Old School RuneScape, its game content and data are trademarks and copyright of Jagex Ltd.
- Player stats come from Jagex's official OSRS hiscores.
- Item prices, item images and some game information come from the Old School RuneScape Wiki. Wiki content is available under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0.
- Sign-in is provided by Clerk, with Discord and Google, under their own terms.
The site's own code, design and Lazy Scaping graphics are original work. Please don't reuse the Lazy Scaping name or graphics in a way that suggests your project is ours.
Availability
We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the site at any time, without notice. Third-party services such as the hiscores or price data can be unavailable, which may affect results.
Disclaimer and liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lazy Scaping and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
